Nelson Abreu, BSEE, PE is a Portuguese-American electrical engineer, innovation expert and consciousness author, educator and technologist based in Los Angeles. He lectures at the International Academy of Consciousness and is a member of the International Consciousness Research Laboratories (ICRL) consortium.

He has contributed to several books and publications, the latest of which is Ordinary People, Extraordinary Experiences. Nelson is a co-founder of design, technology, and well-being startup Neumascape Studio, where he co-creates consciousness technologies.

He began experiencing and studying transformative phenomena like out-of-body experiences (OBEs) in 1998. He has developed techniques and technologies to facilitate such states and presented at conferences and workshops in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia.

“Ordinary People, Extraordinary Experiences”

Ordinary People, Extraordinary Experiences is an exploration of psi phenomena through real accounts and testimonies of everyday people.

This book includes a collection of real-life stories of people who have had transformative experiences, like telepathy and out-of-body experiences.

They suggest that such experiences happen spontaneously to people of all walks of life. Some also demonstrate that some of these extraordinary phenomena can be facilitated by training or optimal conditions.

A discussion takes place in an atmosphere of openness and interest/support without judgment or advice-giving. The group meets on the second Saturday of each month from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in Irvine.  We have a structured program with a guest speaker followed by discussion.

IANDS is not affiliated with any specific religion.

Those who attend  are asked to make a $10 contribution toward our cost for rental of our meeting room.

JC Gordon had a successful career in the banking and financial world prior to semi-retiring in 1994. In 1996, he experienced his Near-Death Experience when a chain-saw kicked back and nearly decapitated him.

Upon returning from his NDE he realized it revealed how to activate the immortality of humanity and extinguish all dark force energy from the Universe. He wanted to tell the world about its profundity but knew he had to properly understand it so it could be effectively communicated.

This led him to a 21-year post-NDE internship to understand the 100% Consciousness he was revealed in order that he could properly communicate its significance.

In November 2015, Lee’s wife Sheri Long passed away after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. In the last days before she passed, while she was unconscious, Lee and two friends guided her through facing and resolving life issues that kept her from passing over to the other side. Lee says, “I visited that area between life and death, where Sheri was stuck and helped her reconcile with her long-dead parents. This talk is the story of these visits and their effect on Sheri and on me as well. It gives a new perspective on the meaning of both life and death.”
