Thomas Fleischmann has been an emergency physician since 1982. Since 2005 he has worked as the director of emergency medical units in Germany and Switzerland. He talks about one of the biggest questions of human kind – what is it like to die.

  1. That’s precisely what I experienced. I did not ever mention the floating source of light & the people who beamed with light because people would not have understood that part. I’m glad someone else mentioned it. Now it doesn’t sound crazy.

      It’s very very common. May I suggest that you try to find a local chapter of IANDS (International Association for Near Death Studies). There’s a guest speaker every month that’s had an NDE and shares the specifics of what they felt, saw, heard, etc., how it may have affected their life afterwards. It’s a safe place to just listen, share, ask questions. No one is judged there. Go to http://www.iands.org and click on FIND A GROUP. Then put in the search field the name of your city or the closest largest one. If you happen to be in southern Calif, meetings are held in San Diego, Orange County (Irvine), Los Angeles, Santa Barbara. Good Luck.
