Denis Purcell
President of the Los Angeles Chapter
International Assoc of Near-Death Studies

At the age of 19 in 1965, Mr. Purcell had a veridical out-of-body experience where he communicated with spiritual beings and experienced himself as a sphere of consciousness. As a result of his experience, he feels that we are spiritual beings enjoying a brief physical experience and that we predate our own birth and will live after death into eternity.

Denis Purcell received his Master’s degree in electrical engineering from USC. He minored in philosophy, worked on a Masters in pure mathematics from UC Berkeley, and holds a secondary teaching credential from UCLA in math, philosophy, and German. He worked on government contracts for 15 years largely in the field of artificial intelligence. He is a thanatologist, (i.e., an expert on death and dying,) volunteers with hospice patients

In 2003, he became a leader of the Los Angeles group of the International Association for Near-Death Studies and its President in 2006.

Tricia Barker experienced a profound near-death experience during her senior year of college, and this experience guided her to teach overseas, in public schools, and at the college level. Her near-death experience story has been featured on I Survived: Beyond and Back, Season 1, Episode 5, National Geographic’s April 2016 article “The Crossing,” the cover story for Simple Grace Magazine, an article in Women’s World Magazine, and featured on The Doctor Oz Show on Feb. 15, 2019.

The book also focuses on the importance of being of service to the world and the healing power of giving unconditional love to others. This Month Our Speakers Will be
Bruce Gold

Conduit for the Transference

of Positive Healing Energies

Bruce’s gift, as a Conduit for the Transference of Positive Healing Energies, came as a result of a conscious out-of-body Near-Death Experience, which occurred while he was driving alone on a crowded Los Angeles freeway in May of 2002.

The thing he is most sure of today is that he was most definitely not alone during that fateful ride.

Bruce  was born and raised, and realized his gift of healing, in his hometown of Los Angeles, California He has been sharing his gift of healing from the moment he first recognized it.

He has a non-invasive technique of energy transference that reaches his recipients almost immediately. He has worked successfully on both Human Beings and Animals.  Bruce’s unique modality works in person, as well as over the phone for distance healing.

He has used his Healing gift in many diverse locations, ranging from, working on the homeless on the streets, to visiting people in their homes or hospital facilities. He has been featured on the Larry King Live show and successfully worked on a number of Medical Professionals.  He makes it clear to his clients that they are the Healers, and he is there strictly as an intermediary, bringing back to them the well of their own energies. Bruce has been described as a Human Tuning Fork, and some have even called him “The Real Bruce Almighty”.

Join us as Orange County  IANDS listens as Bruce talks about his life-changing Near-Death Experience and the aftereffects it’s had upon his life.  Bruce will also invite a few lucky attendees to experience his capacity for helping you toward your own healing, as he demonstrates his gifts that evening. Come and join us, and bring your friends,

Founder of Santa Barbara IANDS

barbara-bartolome

Barbara had her first NDE as an 18-month-old, and the next in 1987 when she went into cardiac arrest during a pre-surgery medical procedure. After being successfully resuscitated, she alarmed the medical staff by accurately recounting their individual comments and actions, and avoided discussing her experience with her.

Through the years, she had astounding moments of  ‘intuition’ if you want to call it that, but it was communication, to put it lightly.  She wasn’t exactly thinking of it as ‘God’, but a higher being who warned her of imminent things about to happen and how to protect herself.  There was another incident where she was given career advice in the oddest of ways, and all that ensued. Unbelievable!

She rarely spoke of her NDE’s for 20 yrs until she came across the Near-Death Experience Research Foundation (www.nerf.org) and the IANDS organization (www.iands.org), and soon after, founded IANDS Santa Barbara in August 2011.

Barbara has been interviewed on NBC Today Show on the segment entitled  “Do you believe? Near-death experiences may reveal glimpses of the afterlife”. http://on.today.com/2i2y7sf

Barbara  is strongly committed to the IANDS organization’s purpose in promoting responsible, multi-disciplinary exploration of near-death and similar experiences, examining their effects on people’s lives, and their implications for the change to our beliefs about life, death, and human purpose.

Last December, Barbara was interviewed on NBC Today Show on the segment entitled  “Do you believe? Near-death experiences may reveal glimpses of afterlife”. http://on.today.com/2i2y7sf

She will go into much more detail of her NDE’s and resulting experiences afterward during her talk.  She just told me some of those accounts and my mouth is still hanging open!  You’ll find her an excellent NDE educator,  speaker, and a dear woman.

Barbara Bartolome from Santa Barbara IANDS in NBC’s Report on NDEs

Barbara Bartolome, Facilitator of Santa Barbara IANDS, was featured in Part 1 of 2 of the NBC Today Show’s Special Report on Near-Death Experiences where she shared a shortened version of her near-death experience. In this Special Report, other NDErs, researchers and experts talk about the results of their research. The two segments aired on Monday, Dec 19th and Tuesday, Dec 20th, 2016.  You can watch both episodes at the links below.

Barbara is an excellent NDE educator, and will be our guest speaker on Saturday, April 8th, 2017. She will recount her near-death experience in much more detail than there was time for in the NBC special. Her talk will be followed by Q&A. Mark your calendars now!

PART I, 12/19/16

Past Speaker Dr Parti on Coast to Coast Radio Tuesday, August 23, 2016

Dr. Rajiv Parti was a speaker twice at Orange County IANDS  (an interest/support group) and one of my favorites of all time. I love this man probably because his transformation changed him from an arrogant, nasty, materialistic, shallow man, who wasn’t even pleasant to his wife and children, to the complete opposite in every way.

Here is the link to an excellent article written about him on Time.com

Today, this former not-a-nice-guy, is truly a new man, completely self-less and devoted to his mission.

He’ll be George Noory’s guest on Coast to Coast AM, Tues, Aug 23, 2016, first half of the show.  I tell you from the bottom of my heart, because you are a human being living your life cycle, this is relevant to you regardless of your religious background. Coast to Coast is on late in most markets, I believe, 10:00 to midnight. George starts with some news, Rajiv would probably come on about 10:20-10:30 pm. You can also listen live from C2C’s website: http://www.coasttocoastam.com or on KFI640’s AM website, www.kfi640.com.
