Barbara Bartolome, founder of Santa Barbara IANDS, shares her 2 NDE’s on Saturday, Apr 8, 2017

barbara-bartolome

Barbara had her first NDE as an 18 month old, and the next in 1987 when she went into cardiac arrest during a pre-surgery medical procedure. After being successfully resuscitated, she alarmed the medical staff by accurately recounting their individual comments and actions, and avoided discussing her experience with her.

Through the years, she had astounding moments of  ‘intuition’ if you want to call it that, but it was communication, to put it lightly.  She wasn’t exactly thinking of it as ‘God’, but a higher being who warned her of imminent things about to happen and how to protect herself.  There was another incident where she was given career advice in the oddest of ways, and all that ensued. Unbelievable!

She rarely spoke of her NDE’s for 20 yrs until she came across the the Near-Death Experience Research Foundation (www.nerf.org) and the IANDS organization (www.iands.org), and soon after, founded IANDS Santa Barbara in August 2011.

Barbara  is strongly committed to the IANDS organization’s purpose in promoting responsible, multi-disciplinary exploration of near-death and similar experiences, examining their effects on people’s lives, and their implications for the change to our beliefs about life, death, and human purpose.

Last December, Barbara was interviewed on NBC Today Show on the segment entitled  “Do you believe? Near-death experiences may reveal glimpses of afterlife”. http://on.today.com/2i2y7sf

She will go into much more detail of her NDE’s and resulting experiences afterward during her talk.  She just told me some of those accounts and my mouth is still hanging open!  You’ll find her an excellent NDE educator,  speaker, and a dear woman.
