In 2005, Dr. Rajiv Parti, an anesthesiologist, encountered the first of a series of life-threatening health challenges: a cancer diagnosis followed by four operations. Afterwards he developed addiction to the pain medications he once prescribed for others and severe depression from pain and the pills he became addicted to.
Dr. Parti had to endure seven surgeries for the cancer and ensuing complications. During his 7th surgery, dying from sepsis with a 105 degree fever, Dr. Parti left his body to hang above the operating room, his consciousness fully intact. He was then suddenly tossed into a horrific darkness, a living hell, where he experienced a bewildering life review. This was followed by a visitation from his dead, abusive father who imparted his son with profound guidance and eternal truths that would change everything in his life. This stunning experience revealed to Dr. Parti his true purpose in this lifetime – to help others forgive, love and heal. His soul contract, his dharma, became that of a spiritual healer of the soul, especially the pain and suffering that comes from diseases such as addiction and depression.
Dr. Parti now helps others overcome their own personal suffering. Gone are the days of Dr. Parti putting people to sleep; his mission now is to wake them up.
Today, the insights gained from his NDE has propelled Dr. Parti to several write books, speak around the world and offer compelling, transformative workshops on spiritual wellness. Dr. Parti contends that no one has to endure an NDE to heal from suffering. Dr. Parti teaches others that transformative healing is available right now if we choose to forgive ourselves and others, while practicing self-love and selfless acts of service.
