On March 30, 2006 at 4:11AM, Javier experienced a Distressing/Negative NDE-Like event that forever changed his life, 180 degrees, overnight.
A sort of Metamorphosis transformed him from an emotionally distant, disconnected robot into an empathic, energetic human being. The most fundamental of his dogmas/philosophies were dramatically altered:
- From believing in the Finality of Existence, to knowing a Continuum of Creation.
- From feeling Insecure and being Anti-Social, to living Carpe Diem.
- From hoarding Riches, to having Rags, to sharing Riches.
The incorporation of and acclimation to this new Self did not come without a hefty price, literally and figuratively. It took 7 years of self-destructive behavior and soul-searching adventures that ultimately culminated with his arrival at the OC IANDS Group on January 12, 2013.
Since that fateful Saturday afternoon, he has continued attending meetings and sharing whatever bits and pieces of his story that might help those in attendance. On June 14, 2014, for the first time, he will tell the whole story…
