This older, one-hour documentary hosted by Joseph Campanella features people who have had near-death experiences (NDE) who share their fascinating personal accounts. Especially intriguing information is offered by Dannion Brinkley (author of Saved by the Light), who had his first near-death experience after being struck by lightning, was resuscitated, and continued to live with multiple medical problems, yet with a positive attitude. He then had a second NDE years later while in the hospital, and again returned to life. Medical experts and well-known authors who have specialized in the subject provide convincing factual evidence that these experiences are real events that occur as part of the transition from life to death, not brain chemical-induced hallucinations or delusions caused by shock. Many individuals (including some very small children) remember similar things, such as being in the presence of a loving being with whom they could wordlessly communicate and together reviewed their lives. A striking aspect of these experiences is that most of the people who have had them seem to no longer have a fear of death.
Also featured are Grace Bubulka, Dianne Morrissey, Dr. Raymond Moody, Dr. Melvin Morse, Dr. Larry Dossey, and Paul Perry.

When You’re Facing Big Challenges . . . 8 Keys to Surviving and Thriving
By Mark Pitstick, MA, DC
Let’s face it, life on Earth is not easy at times. Some consider
this planet to be one of the toughest places to live in the
Universe. Difficulties in life are relative. For one person, that
might include being paralyzed, molested, battling drug and alcohol
addiction, or a loved one dying. For another, it may be an ill
child, relationship struggles, health problems, or financial
difficulties. On a personal and global level, there can be many
challenges. You know what I’m talking about.
But it doesn’t have to stay that way. And your inner light can
always shine through brightly no matter what your current situation
or what is going on around you.
The great news is that you live in an exciting time when much
documented clinical, scientific, and empirical evidence clearly
shows that life is forever. This data clearly indicates that your
physical body is less than 1% of who and what you are. The
rest—the love, energy, light, intelligence, consciousness,
spirit—is indestructible, wise, powerful, and infinite. Further,
your essence is inextricably intertwined with All That Is. That
means you are one with the One right now—not maybe, someday.
How does this contemporary information—that corroborates wise
spiritual and religious teachings across time and cultures—change
your response to challenges?
Here are eight keys to remember when going through tough times . . .
1. You’re not alone: That’s true in two ways. First, everyone
suffers at some time or another. It’s just part of this earthly
cruise package you signed up for. So welcome to the human race.
Secondly, you are literally surrounded by the Light and your
spiritual support team—angels, guides, master teachers, soul
mates—whatever you call them. So remember that you aren’t alone
even during your darkest moments.
2. Your suffering is time limited: Even a one-hundred year earthly
incarnation is just a blink of an eye in the span of eternity. I
know that just one day can seem like forever when you feel mired in
pain or sadness. But this human life is so transient, so brief—so
hang in there and know it’s just for a while. Look for the silver
lining to life’s clouds when you are hip-deep in misery. Some-day,
maybe very soon, you will see that it was all worth the temporary pain.
3. You, as a soul, chose these scenarios: God doesn’t put suffering
on you; that would make It a cruel dictator or puppet-master. This
is a free-will universe. Much clinical evidence and wise spiritual
teachings agree that, before coming to Earth, you volunteered for
certain challenges. Why? For the service and growth
opportunities. To grow in love and enjoy the adventures as you
temporarily forget who you are. To expand Life’s knowledge base.
This does not, by the way, infer determinism because you always
have a choice.
4. You have everything you need: The same Intelligence and Energy
that created universes also courses within you. You are part of
Source Energy now and forevermore. Challenges can help you recall
your divine nature. They help you awaken to who you really are and
all that you can do. Aim for a great life, but when tough times
arrive, remember that you possess limit-less potential and amazing
abilities. Don’t let anyone tell you differently.
5. Difficulties, tragedies and challenges are opportunities: When
life gets tough, you are more likely to ask important questions and
reach down deep to discover all that you are. Ancient Egyptian,
Chinese, and other languages captured the dual nature of
difficulties, that they are also opportunities. Challenges create
exquisite opportunities to grow, serve others, appreciate the
little things in life. It’s easily worth the price of admission.
6. That which does not kill me makes me stronger: Nietzsche said
that, but I’d modify it a bit: “Nothing can kill you, but life’s
challenges can make you stronger.” Of course it’s natural to
prefer avoiding tragedy and disappoint-ments. But when those enter
your life, see them for what they are and bless them. Look at the
stars, not the mud, and know it’s all good, it’s all God. Look for
the doors that open when others close, doors you wouldn’t have seen
if it weren’t for the “bad” things.
7. There’s a rhyme and reason for all things: The Bible says, “To
every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under
the heaven.” Many other wisdom sources have echoed this truth.
Consider all the minute details that had to align for you to be
where you are right now and experiencing what you are. Is that a
random and chaotic process, or a lawful one with meaning and
purpose? Only you can decide what makes the most sense to you, but
the collective evidence indicates the latter is the way Life works.
8. Life on Earth is an adventure: Humans love adventure stories and
movies so much because they remind us about why we are here.
Before this physical earth-experience, your real self could see the
big picture. You knew it was imminently worthwhile to struggle
some because of all the benefits therein. But then you were born
and, if you’re like most people, totally forgot the cosmic
perspective. You forgot that you are a timeless, deathless being
of energy who loves adventures and creating great stories. You are
a knight in shining armor, a heroine who always wins in the end.
So relax and enjoy life.
Think upon these things and consider examining your current
challenges in a different light. Your earth-experience makes much
more sense when you remember who you are, why you’re here, and Who
walks beside/within you always.
Live radiantly and soulfully,

Michaela Chatterjee will share her vivid near-death experience that occurred in 1994 when she was 17 years old. On the way back from a family reunion, she was sleeping in the backseat when her family’s car was hit from behind resulting in a severe accident. Michaela recalls the wind blowing in her face as she was strapped to the gurney on the side of the road. She was being wheeled to a helicopter that would airlift her to the hospital. The next thing she remembers is being engulfed by a white light around the same time she briefly flatlined during the airlift. She will talk about her experience with death and how it helps her live a more fulfilling life.
Michaela is now a thriving behavioral therapist specializing in the after affects of near-death experiences.
Michaela’s story was featured on the acclaimed A&E tv show, “I Survived: Beyond and Back”.

A Synopsis of Documented Clinical and
Scientific Evidence That Life Is Never-Ending
by Mark Pitstick, MA, DC
Documented clinical and scientific evidence by respected physicians and university professors now clearly indicates that no one really dies. An afterlife exists for all or, more accurately, life is never-ending despite outward change. Many potential benefits -including personal and global transformation-accompany knowing this evidence.
Four categories of this evidence include:
1. Near-Death Experiences (NDEs): Tens of thousands of documented cases exist in which clinically dead persons accurately saw-while their eyes were closed and their bodies were in an ER or ICU-events that occurred around, outside, and even on top of the hospital. These cases are most impressive when they occur in blind persons and little children as reported by Raymond Moody, MD, PhD, Ken Ring, PhD, and a host of other researchers. Further, 16% of NDErs have experienced life-previews in which they saw future events over which they had no control. As reported by Bruce Greyson, MD, and others, their visions of the future were recorded by doctors and, over time, unfolded just as seen during the NDE. Finally, miraculous cures, such as that of Anita Moorjani, author of Dying To Be Me, have occurred during NDEs and have been confirmed by pre-and post-medical records.
2. Scientific Studies: Gary Schwartz, PhD-former Yaleand Harvard professor, now at the University of Arizona-conducted repeated, double-blind, peer-reviewed, journal-published studies. His group of allegedly authentic mediums had an 87% success rate when psychically reading subjects they had no contact with. The control group had only a 23% success rate. The statistical probability of that difference occurring by chance is miniscule. Dr. Schwartz’s research has been closely monitored by other scientists, videographers, and magicians; none could find any flaws in his methodology.
Ian Stevenson, MD, chairman of the psychiatry department at the University of Virginia Medical School, researched the topic of children’s past life memories for sixty years. He and his research team substantiated over 3000 cases in which children from all continents accurately remembered a past life. Their memories were documented in a number of ways including one or more sets of birthmarks that correlated with death wounds in the previous time and place.
3. After-death Contacts (ADCs) have been experienced by over 75 million Americans: 25% of the general population, 66% of widows/widowers and 75% of bereaved parents. ADCs involve perceiving, with the usual senses or more ethereal ones, departed loved ones and occur in the waking and dream states. In evidential ADCs, information or evidence was obtained that could not have been known unless, indeed, a deceased spirit was making contact. These have been reported by esteemed physicians such as Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, MD, and Carl Jung, MD.
4. Perinatal Experiences (PNEs)refer to awareness in the time period just before, during and after birth. Research by David Chamberlain, MD, Stan Grof, MD, David Cheek, MD, and others indicates that a wise and objective consciousness resides within the newborn baby. Further, PNEs point to a preexistence of awareness, a consciousness that predates human birth.

WAKING UP TO THE ETERNAL TRUTHS
DATE AND TIME: March 14, 2015, 1:00pm to 4:00pm

In 2005, Dr. Rajiv Parti, an anesthesiologist, encountered the first of a series of life-threatening health challenges: a cancer diagnosis followed by four operations. Afterwards he developed addiction to the pain medications he once prescribed for others and severe depression from pain and the pills he became addicted to.
Dr. Parti had to endure seven surgeries for the cancer and ensuing complications. During his 7th surgery, dying from sepsis with a 105 degree fever, Dr. Parti left his body to hang above the operating room, his consciousness fully intact. He was then suddenly tossed into a horrific darkness, a living hell, where he experienced a bewildering life review. This was followed by a visitation from his dead, abusive father who imparted his son with profound guidance and eternal truths that would change everything in his life. This stunning experience revealed to Dr. Parti his true purpose in this lifetime – to help others forgive, love and heal. His soul contract, his dharma, became that of a spiritual healer of the soul, especially the pain and suffering that comes from diseases such as addiction and depression.
Dr. Parti now helps others overcome their own personal suffering. Gone are the days of Dr. Parti putting people to sleep; his mission now is to wake them up.
Today, the insights gained from his NDE has propelled Dr. Parti to several write books, speak around the world and offer compelling, transformative workshops on spiritual wellness. Dr. Parti contends that no one has to endure an NDE to heal from suffering. Dr. Parti teaches others that transformative healing is available right now if we choose to forgive ourselves and others, while practicing self-love and selfless acts of service.

Sue Ingram has had two near-death experiences, the first in 1966 due to a car accident in a turnpike. The NDE was extensive, intense, and as Sue describes it, “in full color”. The second NDE occurred about 22 years ago, the result of an epidural administered just prior to going into surgery, when something went very wrong.
Please join us to hear Sue’s experiences of when she crossed over, to share any NDE or transformative experiences you may have had if you’d like to, or to ask questions. Everyone is welcome.
While on his skis as a ‘ski patroller’ at a well-known California resort, Doug Heyes had a devastating accident when his skis locked up, resulting in a spinal cord injury, paralysis, and an NDE, which he will describe.
Doug first came into awareness of his gift for Spirit Energy healing following his own miraculous healing, which received widespread attention from its publication in Chicken Soup for the Soul: A Book of Miracles. Since then, he has devoted himself to the study and practice of transformation healing, working extensively with masters and teachers in the field, from which he has built a worldwide healing practice.
During Saturday’s talk, Doug will guide us in a meditation where we will open ourselves to the presence and power of Spirit through breath, light and energetic attunement, a state in which profound healing can occur.
In concert with his healing work, he is also an EMT, and continues his work as a ski patroller and professional rescuer. He’s also author of Body Mind Heart & Soul – The Journey to Total Healing. He holds a B.A. in Psychology (UCLA, 2007) and a Masters in Spiritual Psychology (University of Santa Monica, 2012), as well as a Red Belt in Pyong An Do Wan (Peaceful Mind Way) Kung Fu. Prior to his conversion to the healing arts, he spent many years working in the entertainment business as a writer-producer IMBD/Doug Hayes.

Mickey Robinson, born a Roman Catholic, now a Christian minister and author of Falling Into Heaven, recounts his 1968 near-death experience when the plane he was in exploded. He was only 19 years old. As the facilitator of Orange County IANDS and in my own personal interest and research into near-death experiences, he reports something I have not yet heard from other experiencers. At the moment he revived and came back into his body, only momentarily he heard himself speaking a beautiful language, one he had never heard before.
Mickey has a pleasing low-key, matter-of-fact way style of communication in which he tells his story to Sid Roth, a messianic Jew and host of the Sid Roth-It’s Supernatural show.
A further search on Youtube will produce many interviews of Mickey. I came across one in which the host invites him to say a prayer for all the listeners. It may have a different effect for you, but the prayer had a calming peaceful effect on me which has lasted throughout the day. I’m not a Christian so as I heard the references to Jesus Christ, I just replaced them with words which reflect my personal beliefs, ‘God’, ‘My Creator’, ‘Higher Power.’ The prayer in the following video starts at the 4 minute mark.
Video about 3 minutes.
Nanci Danison is an attorney in Ohio who had an NDE years ago, and is known to have one of the most expansive memories of all lessons learned while on the other side, which she uses to make a difference in all our lives. Do a search on Youtube, she has many videos posted on different subjects.
